H.E. Vincent Degert awarded certificates on completed elementary education to adults
Belgrade, 30 May 2013 – In 70 elementary schools around Serbia the school year ended today for 4,750 adults who participated in elementary education within the EU funded “Second Chance” Project. In the Elementary School “Djura Jaksic” in Pancevo, participants were awarded certificates by the Head of the EU Delegation, H. E. Vincent Degert. Read more

The “Second Chance” Programme to be continued next year
Belgrade, 19 April 2013 – Proposal for the Law on Adult Education should soon be presented to the members of the Serbian National Assembly, stated Mr. Ljubisa Antonijevic, Assistant Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development during his address to the directors of elementary schools included in the “Second Chance” Project of the Ministry and the EU. EU donates technical equipment to elementary schools involved in adult literacy project
Belgrade, 14 December, 2012 – Тhe European Union donated new technical equipment to 71 elementary schools in Serbia implementing functional elementary education for adults within the EU’s “Second chance” project. The total value of the donated equipment is 200,000 euros. The schools received 68 copy machines, 139 lap top computers, 69 personal computers, 91 video beamers, 80 screens for video projection, 83 digital cameras, 116 flip charts and 65 wireless routers.
